Saturday: Ballard

During our last trip to Seattle we discovered the neighbourhood of Ballard and decided we would head at some point to explore it more - the fact that it Seattle’s main hub for microbreweries had nothing to do with it!

We drove down this morning - the drive was fine but we had a bit of a wait at the border.  At least we were able to pass straight through today and didn’t have to go in for secondary checks.  

We enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood this afternoon and then embarked on our self-devised brewery tour, taking in ‘Lucky Envelope’, ‘Trailbend Taproom’, ‘Reuben’s’ and ‘Peddler Brewing’.  That last one was probably our favourite.  There were loads we didn’t try so we might just have to embark on a return trip at some point.
