Damp December Day

It was high tide at Emsworth this morning and we had to dodge the waves and spray as we walked along the foreshore. In the water there were several wing foils being used. They are like a kite surf but the short board the rider stands on, comes up on the foil and rises out of the water. There is no mast so the sails are a handheld wing. Quite amazing - we’d not seen them before.

The rest of the day has been spent being cosy and resting, other than our wet and breezy afternoon dog walk. We enjoyed seeing all the pretty festive lights up around the village. People have been really creative this year. Hope your day has gone well.
