Cloud Combing

After what feels like months of grey, there was a bit of blue to enjoy.

The government here has announced that we go into lockdown from Wednesday until the 10th of January.  Supermarkets & pharmacies will be allowed to open, but virtually nothing else.  And, in a victory for pets everywhere, the sale of fireworks has been banned.  

 In Germany fireworks can only be bought by the public between Xmas & New Year's Eve.  And a huge number of people go bonkers with them at midnight and there are always lots of casualties.  That surprises me.  I mean, how stupid do you have to be to not understand that it's not clever to play with explosives?

And before I lapse into a well of misanthropy, I'll stop there.
