Another friendly robin..

... to add to the growing library of the colourful little birds appearing on blipfoto this week.

We made yet another visit to Harlow Carr Gardens this morning. The plan was to meet up with some friends for a socially distanced get-together over coffee. Unfortunately, as I was taking  a few shots of this robin (complete with rain drops), we got a text to say the friends were unable to attend.

Whilst it wasn't the brightest of mornings, the rain didn't really get going until we had wandered around for an hour or so. That allowed me to spend a bit of time photographing textures of tree trunks, like the one in the extra.

When the rain really started, we made a swift exit.
