and the rain stopped, forecast for the whole weekend, so off up to Yangmingshan, a bit more of the grand trail or at least a bit more of the missing segments which actually exist, for which, if not exactly a map i've found a prose guide... not so bad, walking through misty woodlands, more of a wander than an actual hike today, content to be up in the hills and in no hurry whatsoever, late start and early finish, switch two into three before ending up back at jiantan, snowflake ice and eggroll as a treat... and off again tomorrow for a little more
