Sunrise

Today, when W opened the curtains, he commented that it was a nice sky.  Shortly after, it was more than just "nice" - I scampered downstairs to fetch my camera, and hung out of the bedroom window to get this.

We've had a few decent sunrises over the last couple of weeks - local early risers post pictures on Facebook.  But this is the first in a while that I've been alert enough to capture.

We were thinking about a walk today, but I fear this truly is "Shepherds warning" - we are forecast rain by lunchtime.  Tomorrow looks as if it will be a better day.  So today I will concentrate on the car mat; but I must practice my flute, which has been neglected in favour of sewing recently.
