The nursery field

The cows had been brought down to the field by the road. There is still plenty of grass in it so maybe this is the reason, given it appears to be a nursery field. The calves looked very contented. It rained most of the morning but cleared up in the afternoon as the Tramontane began to blow. I was able to get out and worked on a watercolour on my return.
