Windy in Quarff

Gales have been blowing all day, and heavy showers.  Dull and overcast too.

I've been working in the museum all day.  A fairly quiet day.  Been back to town this evening, looking for more Christmas lights, no joy, but friend Sharon has some old sets she's going to give me.  Popped along Madeline's on the way home.  Might try a quiet pint later.

It's been a good winter gale blowing all day, and along with it, some big waves rolling in.  Each time I turned away, I missed the big waves!  As you can imagine, this is the reason we don't have many trees here in Shetland, the salty air isn't good for them.  Looking to the Old Haa, Easter Quarff.
