"Following On From Yesterday"...

....Tonight we had to wait until it was after sundown to take this blip of the Chaffey Fountain, the replica fountain which stands in front of the Old Chaffey home 'Rio Vista' (which I had originally blipped on 28/11/2012).
I wanted to take a shot of the fountain at night. We don't have too many fountains around here, being out in the desert a bit, and so this one and also the original give us a little insight to what may be standing, in the nearest cities, far away..

After searching for some more information on the fountains - this one - the replica, was installed back into the gardens of Rio Vista in time for the centenary celebrations in 1991, and the original, which stands in our main thoroughfare - was donated to the township in 1936 to commemorate 25 years since the Coronation of King George V. But it had previously stood in the place of this replica many, many years prior...
