Last day for the Lillies

They lasted surprisingly long, considering they spent a few days in the shed before I came home. They have been gorgeous and smell so sweetly.

Without doubt one of my favourite flowers, which come with a sting. I've been sneezing for the past four days, eyes streaming enough to warrant my contacts coming out, I can also blame these beauties for a migraine this morning. Unfortunately those stunning red stamen, full of luscious pollen, do no agree with me.

I know I shouldn't keep them in the house but how can I resist. Jim never remembers that I'm allergic so I just put up with the symptoms as long as possible. Or, maybe it's his plan!
