Sleeping Rani

Rani doesn't usually come to see me during the night. So it was surprise when she turned up.  She spent a good while sleeping in her basket (there are cat beds in every room), and then she decided she wanted to have a bit of a sleep on the bed.  She spent about 30 minutes tucked in behind my knees before she needed a bit of a stretch.

This was taken just before 4 am.  I had one of my "Nope, not going to sleep, going to lie here and remember every embarrassing thing I've ever done."  I fell uneasily asleep sometime after 5, tried getting up at 9:30 but I just couldn't face it.  Back to bed until 11.  I hope I will sleep tonight.

Rani was at the vet today for her injection.  And this left me at home with Chaiyya, who gets separation anxiety when her sister is gone.  This means Chaiyya came everywhere with me.  If you don't watch your feet, you'll end up kicking her a lot.  And even turning round in the kitchen is an excuse for Chaiyya to predict where your feet will land.  She's never been wrong and she's always there.
