These pretty flowers were by the roadside on my walk. We were able to ring this morning as church services are once again allowed with up to thirty in attendance. I arrived early to set up two industrial gas blower heaters but even so it was freezing. Nevertheless it was good to be among friends again. This afternoon it was a choice between a small Christmas fair in the next village which would only have been a few tables set up in the square or the England v France rugby match. I chose the latter and the warm and although the English performance was poor, it was an exciting match and England scraped home in extra time.
