The Sun Also Rises...

and some days more beautifully than others!

Today I had to go the US Consulate and I realized how much anxiety I was having about going because of the bombing at the US Embassy a few weeks ago. I chided myself for being irrational, but it got me thinking about fears and the potential they have to stay with us and resurface over and over. It's like one of my favorite lyrics (from Counting Crows), "These seconds when I'm shaking leave me shuddering for days". But then thinking back to the sunrise this morning, I considered how we might choose to live in a way that allows the most beautiful moments to stay with us and reverberate instead.
