Friday: Halfmoon Bay

I’ve taken a few days off and we’ve used the opportunity to get away to the Sunshine Coast.  Here we are at Halfmoon Bay, enjoying the late afternoon sunlight.  We’ve got a lovely little secluded Airbnb with not a neighbour in sight.

We got a late morning ferry which got us to Langdale early afternoon.  We stopped off at Persephone Brewing for a flight.  Persephone is probably the most beautifully located microbrewery we’ve been to - we first visited a few years ago.  It’s set on farmland, in amongst the hops that go into the beer you’re drinking, which makes it feel very organic.

After settling ourselves in our accommodation and a beachfront walk we had dinner at Batch 44 Brewery in Sechelt.  Good beers and food.
