Melting

We were surprised to see three inches of snow around us this morning. If we’d been at the flat we’d probably have been wakened at 4am by the thunder and lightening that accompanied the blizzard. But we live with in earshot of the artillery ranges at Otterburn, so we’d probably have assumed the army was on manoeuvres And gone back to sleep.

It has rained all day and the snow is gone. And it does’t look like it will freeze tonight, thank goodness.

Setting up the new phone was simple, as promised. All my stuff seems to have migrated. And I can make and receive calls now that I’ve got the SIM card in the right way up .... l didn’t know it was possible to put that little drawer in upside down, but somehow I did :-(
