The spray hood having being repaired, it was another trip out to Port Edgar. And then to get the thing back on. Cold weather, I’ll tell you. And who showed up but the son - he was going to use my laptop but although it showed 50% battery at home, the cold must have got to it.
What else is going on, I seem to have been slipping up on this here diary. The day of the Vaccine is getting closer. Though absurdly, they’re prioritising old folk who don’t even want to go out to the pub or cinema. It’s payback time folks! I gather celebs are being lined up to get the first shots, to encourage the others, but no one has been in touch as yet. I do hope they don’t have my old email address.
And what about that Andy Marr grilling La Sturgeon good and proper on Sunday. Well out of character. Though Ms Sturgeon hasn’t been herself of late.* She’s rushed out an ill considered five hundred squid bonus from an odd £130m she found down the sofa.** Given that higher rate taxpayers and even top consultants are getting it, it seems a seriously strange priority when we’ve seen photos of food banks with record queues. As I’ve cynically remarked before, those people mostly don’t vote. But the optics… the optics..
