At rest

A feature of life these days is settling down in the evening to watch some TV and the Ten o’clock News.

Our dog has become even more desirous of physical company as we have been around the house for months on end and the expectation now is that he jumps up, snuggles down and snoozes. He was particularly relaxed this evening.

No doubt due to the stress of the alarm system getting its annual check today, meaning that lots of beeping noises set him off ( he sees himself as our alarm system and responds to unusual noises).

He has got a bit more used to the works in the garden which are making progress in the milder weather - though the temperatures are about to change. As the extras show one of the raised beds is taking shape. It was suggested that it could be where we are laid to rest!! Our son suggested a pyramid be built on top!

Whether the apple tree survives its roots being disturbed we will have to see. As the other extra shows, lots of care being taken to not disturb the main root. Only time will tell!
