The season is upon us.... here’s (a very meagre picture of) the window of a very lovely independent bookshop down the road. Tomorrow it will be open! Here’s hoping this shop and many others like it survive COVID.

Gratefuls:

1. A walk out with Eve and Isaac;
2. The season of easy peelers - suddenly clementines taste better than Quality Street;
3. Zeke’s delight at the online advent calendar we got him - simple pleasures.
