cereal mystery solved

Zeke has a long-standing memory of an amazing snack which he ate on one solitary occasion as a pre-schooler whilst in the care of the marvellous Jess. He knew where he was (sitting at the back of the parish church during a school carol service) and who was there and described it as “shreddies wrapped round jam”. He’s talked of it on occasion and I’ve been amused but I don’t think I realised how much he wants to recreate the snack of glory until he sat down to write his Christmas letter to Santa tonight. “What’s the name of the thing I most want Mummy?!” After a few WhatsApp’s to and from Jess, we worked out it’s Tesco’s Red Cherry Wheats which she purchased once circa December 2017. He’s made an official request for his Christmas stocking so here’s hoping Tesco still makes them.
