the best excuse I didn't need

This chap is a cordwainer. When I walk past him every morning I am reminded that many of my ancestors were cordwainers. I think this is why I am compelled to buy so many shoes. It's in my genes, I just can't help it. To make matters worse, he sits right outside a shoe shop that opens at 7am. Oh dear.
