Still Green?
My favourite this morning. An early stickathon. Walking about 8.00 am can be magic as the sun is just getting above the mountains and the colour is intense so everything looks new and fresh. I was particularly new and fresh this morning and blatted myself to a standstill as we worked our way up the waterfall creek lakeside track. The amazing news is that some of the poplars are thinking about autumn, probably brought about by the weather for the last month as patches of gold were showing themselves but the willows along the lake knew exactly where they stood. They were still green but showing signs.
The moody mountain in the background is known as Peninsula Hill and is on the other side of the lake.
The other adventure today involved a water blaster a stone carving thingie and a planterbox full of soft earth. Oh that was highly photographic but the boss didn't seem in the mood. He was too busy cleaning his glasses.
Close inspection
