A Voyage for Madmen

Oh we’d such good chats. There’s a possibility of a mooring or two going free up the west coast next summer. And I’m definitely interested. These gents won’t be needing them y’see as they have sailing plans of their own. A bit more adventurous than mine. Out the Forth and turn left. To Portugal. Well, it sort of worked for the Spanish Armada. Then to the Canaries, and on to the Cape Verde Isles before nipping over to various groups of islands around the Caribbean and up to the US of A where there’s some waterway that runs all the way to New York apparently. Up the coast to Halifax, Nova Scotia before heading home via the Azores. They’re looking quite calm about it.
Later, a babysit, and what larks - we’d got a little bodysuit suit from the Hearts shop to sneak her into. How we laughed. And hoped the wean’s father would see the funny side of it when he came back from the gym. Ho ho, yes.
