Advent Windows

2020's advent windows in our little community off to a flying start. Each night between now and Christmas Day windows in homes, businesses and other organisations will be lit with a number. Our friend F started the idea five years ago and it's gone from strength to strength.

This year there are two or even three windows being lit each night. For the first it's F herself, always a really creative window and, blipped, the hairdresser. Flashing lights made this tricky and it's not a great photograph but it tells a story. Our window isn't till much later in the month - thank goodness. Still need to finesse the plans, as they say.

If you decorate and light your window you're invited to make a donation to the community defibrillator fund. We get lots of twinkly lights and well maintained life saving equipment. Can't argue with that.
