Skyline

Another beautiful day. There was a hard frost last night and although the sun was up and doing its best when I went out it was making no impression on the cold, cold day. A perfect walk over the fields with Flora. Needless to say she was on her lead for the entire 90 minutes we were out.

Thank you for all the generous hearts and stars for yesterday's blip of the Carse and Trossachs. Today's isn't as dramatic but there was some mist hanging over the town which I thought looked quite atmospheric. This blip was taken from Cambuskenneth as I walked home desperate for a cup of coffee.

I have too many jobs started but not finished in the house so I'm going to try and complete one or two. Or I might just get outside again. It seems wrong not to in such glorious winter weather.

Today sees the start of the Advent Windows in our community. My friend F is going first and her window will be lit this evening. I was round at her house yesterday and there was a lot of papier-mâché and cardboard in her kitchen. She is very creative so the finished article will look great I know. Our window isn't till much later in the month. In the past few years Cameraman has documented the windows but he's had next to no time for blip recently. I'm not sure if he'll be blipping but I know he's planning to photograph and share them as they're lit. He'll put a link on his blip page for anyone who's interested I'm sure.
