Riverside Plantings....

There is a group of environmentally aware and dedicated folk in Blenheim who, along with the Marlborough District Council, have planned and then planted sections of the Taylor River banks with native plants, shrubs and trees. They are planting for the future. The golden feathery plant seen here is Toi toi aka Austroderia. It is a delicately graceful plant that looks lovely when blowing in a breeze....as it was early this morning.
