The River is Shrinking.....

The current dry spell is a bit worrying. It is unusual for us to be using the irrigation systems at this time of the year. We could do with a few days of rain.
Maisie and I were out walking very early this morning. Son Duncan was up ahead of us and off out riding his mountain bike on the Wither Hills. The wind was blowing from the nor-west and the day was very muggy. It’s lovely having family here although there was a bit of a panic this morning when Kevin the cat couldn’t be found. Family members went off hunting for him but he was sleeping in the garden all the time. Phew!
