Where did these come from?

Another long day at the unit. My registrar is on leave this week. Barely time to get home before I needed to leave to go to the pre Christmas gathering of present and past medical directors. The others are an interesting and supportive group. But I’m glad that’s not what I do any more. 

I was in the taxi on the way home after, when I saw what could be a mountain range with snow capped peaks. Except there isn’t such a range in Auckland. Could it be waves in the ocean? Not in the right place. 

The taxi driver did try for a photo but the traffic moved again too soon. As a passenger I was able to get this photo.
