Fog?

"Where did you find the fog?" On of my friends asked while looking through the pictures on my camera.

"Right out there." I said, pointing out our back window.

"Really?" She went to look out the window, but with the sun up, most of the fog had run away.

For the first time in the past two and a half years (that I've seen), morning fog settled in our backyard swamp. It was beautiful. As I took pictures, I started to wonder if I just hadn't noticed before. But I don't think that's the case. Judging by my friend's response, her 8 years here hasn't included much fog either.
