An Early Start

I was up promptly this morning to drive TM to the garage: they have given up on the LandRover, and it's now back here awaiting the attentions of a specialist ....

The shot was taken through the windscreen of my car, before the wipers got to work.

It was a day of rain and sunshine. We went to Hawick for our fortnightly Click and Collect. Driving along, we saw a wonderful rainbow. It spanned the whole valley bottom, from Minto Craig (with the Tower on top) to Lanton Hill. Unfortunately I didn't have my wide angle lens, and I've never mastered taking a panoramic shot on my phone.  Getting further back would have involved hiking into a field of sprouting winter barley, not recommended.
