The Spider

A lovely bright day. This spider sculpture commemorates Robert the Bruce who famously hid in a cave and watched a spider try to weave a web. After watch it finally succeed ( after many failed attempts) Bruce gained the inspiration to return and fight the English despite overwhelming odds. Or so the story relates.
