Glow in the dark

Another dull day, with a cold wind building up. I had various household things to sort out, and alternated those with some still life practice (another camera club prompt).
The fruit arrangement was looking promising.  Then I realised, after downloading the images, that I'd left auto ISO set higher than I'd meant to. So I'll need to do this again, to get the result I was after. However, this left me free to have fun with all the editing settings anyway, since this was clearly a practice run.  If you have sharp eyes you'll also spot a fine patina of dust on the dish. Perhaps that adds to the generally downbeat feel.
Then we ate the pomegranate seeds as garnish on a middle eastern chicken stew, made with a walnut sauce. This was a more successful experiment :-)
