Quick amble in the woods

Today I finally went up to the farm where Milly (pony) used to live, and cleared out the final few things I'd left behind: a hay feeder, a few other bits and bobs. She's happy in her new home, the move was the right decision, but not an easy one. So I'd been putting off this minor task.
Afterwards I had a short amble with the camera in nearby Grenoside woods, experimenting with some leaf/tree shapes.
On the way there and back, I was listening to the wonderful 'Entangled Life' on a BBC podcast - a book, by Merlin Sheldrake, about fungi and their extraordinary lives. I recommend it, either the audio version or the book itself - it's engrossing, meditative and full of interesting observations.
