Pub Sign No. 13

Wiswell - pronounced "Wizel" - is a small village just south of Clitheroe in Lancashire. This is the sign hanging outside the village pub 'The Freemasons' - sadly closed at the moment.
The gentleman depicted doesn't seem to quite fit the appearance of your archetypal Freemason - but an interesting sign nonetheless :-)
