Taking Shelter

A second day of rain pretty much all day. I took a short walk in the rain and found some cover to make a few photographs. I'm surprised the rain drops are visible at this distance (must be two hundred feet). I suppose that's a testament to the quality of the lens. Probably accentuated by the telephoto effect narrowing the depth of field and softening the background, which was quite a lot further away.

I like that it's a mainly blue image, reflecting the mood of the day, complimented by touches of orange in the distant trees.
