Tiny Umbrella

The American Gold Finches have entertained me over the last few months. I fill the feeder late afternoon to get them through the night and the morning it is covered with hungry birds. The sparrows try to clean up the area below the feeder.

Can you spot the 14 finches in the mesquite tree in the extra? Well, 13 in the tree and one on the fly.

Aaron left early this morning. I am so grateful for any time he is able to be here. It was good to cook for an extra person. Thankfully, he went plant based last year so there wasn't any extra accommodation being made. One turkey was saved!
