FIRE!

I missed the dawn this morning, not really surprising as you need to wake up a little earlier than I do to see the dawn!
I loved the colours in the back garden when I did open the curtains though and the reflection of the sun on the wall of the garage opposite was amazing. The silver birches self seeded themselves next door about 15 years ago and I love the colours they turn in the light.
Thursday today, where do the weeks go? I had an AGM and board meeting at 9am which all went very smoothly. I'm so impressed with the way our staff are supporting our residents and the way they are going above and beyond to keep them safe. On the other hand I am so glad to be retired and not have to deal with it all on a daily basis.
A wee trip to Lidl after that, I got the day wrong for their offer though so I'll have to go back tomorrow! I did get some gold tinsel though, essential for all lead angels!
Thursday is our evening prayer day which is always good. A small group of 6-10 usually and on Zoom if course. It's quiet and thoughtful and a good time out of what is still a busy world.
We had bridge this evening, I was quite happy with my play which is nice, I can be quite critical of myself at times. Others are less so.
