Morning photo trip
My friend Moira recently discovered a phone app that helps with spotting good weather conditions for landscape photography. She duly phoned me last night, suggesting we get out to catch the mist lying in the valleys below Curbar Edge in Derbyshire.
We got there about 9, probably just a little later than we should have done (and, of course, safely distanced in our two separate cars). The app's predictions were completely accurate and it was wonderful to watch the mist shift and swirl, moving up from the valleys and over the edge.
Today, too, we discover that South Yorks will be in Tier 3 from Dec 2. As a family, we're still pondering how best to plan for Christmas. Barbecued turkey in the garden, maybe, under socially-distanced umbrellas...? Or maybe not... :-)
