Mother Nature Dresses Up

Mother Nature wears her rubies
and her sapphires, too,
hanging on her hedgerows:
autumnal red and blue.

Her falling leaves are dancing:
sloe, sloe, quick, quick, sloe.
Mother Nature's jewels glisten,
putting on a show.
