Walking the bounds

The morning work video calls were very productive. I did wonder as I looked in on all my colleagues what we would all look like when we finally met up again in 3D! It is almost a year since everyone on this call last met in person.

We walked the city’s eastern boundary following the John Muir path. At one point we were on the east side of the burn and technically liable to 2 x £60 fixed penalty fines. Luckily there were no Covid wardens on this beat today.

T, armed with her litter picker, gathered three large bags on our walk. That’s one bag per mile. Luckily there were bins at mile intervals into which we could discharge all the jettisoned fast food and drink containers.

A call to a colleague in Lagos brightened up the early evening and was a counterpoint to all the complicated Christmas Covid “if you cannot beat them join them” restrictions.
