Old favourite

I have finished all my library books so I have resorted to my own collection. I’m quite happy to read again my favourite books and at the moment am well through ”Swallowdale” , the second book in the “Swallows and Amazons ” series by Arthur Ransome. I loved them when I was young, and used to save up the 7/6 pocket money to buy each one. I read them so often that they are very familiar, although I must say Swallowdale is my least favourite in the series, it is a bit slow.
We had a lovely hour long FaceTime session yesterday evening with old friends P & P. Maybe soon we will be able to meet in the flesh before long.
