A little bit of light

What a week! I have been working very long days so this weekend I have given myself a break. I saw something on our village Facebook group about putting a star in our windows to bring some joy. I’ve got mine ready just need to figure out how to display it. This afternoon we set about putting up the new set of outside Christmas lights. It took a lot longer than I expected but it was nice to be outside on a sunny afternoon although it did get a bit chilly as the sunshine disappeared. Anyway they’re up and ready: I think people will go to town this year. So I’m just sitting enjoying a glass of Winter Pimms. I hear it’s been discontinued which is a shame as it always was a favourite of mine. It’s hard to believe it’s almost a year since we went to the Christmas market in Frankfurt. Lovely memories as I drink from one of my souvenir mugs.
