In between showers

Today started wet and I thought it was set for the day but mid morning the skies cleared so I headed out for a walk while the going was good. It was very wet under foot but I took advantage of the golf course being closed and did some of the routes we did in Lockdown 1.0! It was lovely to wander among the trees.

I had a chat with a good friend over coffee before lunch. I’ve cut out coffee on my diet so it was a rare treat! I’ve made good progress and was pleased this week to get back into the “healthy weight” section of the BMI chart!! I still do the 800 calories most days except Fridays and I allow myself a few small treats at the weekend. So, back to it tomorrow although today I did pretty well anyway.

I did a couple of hours work this afternoon while I had a clear head and to get ahead of the week on a few things. I also did some flute practice. I finally have a teacher and am on the road to my exam!

Mum didn’t come over today as my son has 3 more days of self isolation. At least I visited her yesterday. Roll on Thursday. Sounds like the PM has to do the same .... stay safe folks.
