Bit of Traction

Odd day. First bit at Lowes to find some transition pieces for the crown molding corners. We have the worst transition between the lounge and the bedroom corridor ever. Utterly awful.

So we now have a couple of corner pieces to tidy that up.

Then Dog (the truck) failed, so that set me back another hour, and eventually I got to work by 130. All the mudding is now done (ceiling, holes in walls, etc), Killz'ed all the bits that needed Killzing (mainly ceiling stains), and washed one of the bedroom walls that had started to get mildew on it (long story).

Discovered that the previous owners had used gloss paint throughout the bedrooms! Easy to clean mind, but horrible to have. Got to read up on how to neutralise that. Think the new paint sprayer is coming out to play shortly.

We also have a texture sprayer - think these walls might be getting that as well!

For some reason, what I had hoped was a 2 week project is looking like 4 weeks.
