My Favourite Tree

This really is one of my favourite trees, on one of my favourite walks. I was amazed to hear Ramblings on radio 4 this Sunday with Clare Balding walking here. Annoyingly the photo on the website is actually from Hay Bluff and not the Begwyns. Shall I email them one of mine?

Well here the tree is in fading sunlight about 20 minutes before sunset. My younger daughter Ellie was trying out her new camera and getting some annoyingly good shots. She is looking at ' negative space' Holes in things. My tree proved a good subject as did the fence in front of it.
We had a lovely walk with great sun set , orange sheep ( reflected sunset glory!) and me swearing at the dogs as they repeatedly tangled me up in the leads by muddy slippery puddles.
