Heron in mist, not to be missed!

We couldn't miss the Heron despite the mist.
A beautifully crafted metal heron sculpture marks the Heronry in the nearby trees. You can see their large, messy nests made of sticks , high up in the tops of the trees.
We both got soaked to the skin despite our gear , the mist seems to swirl its way in better than the raindrops.
We enjoyed our march around the reservoir , its about 30 mins drive from where we live, its usually busy but strangely it was very quiet today !
