she has turned fifteen!

My eldest turned fifteen today - I remember quite vividly turning fifteen. I also remember my sixteenth year and I shudder! I am sure my Mother didn't have the same feelings as her life was so sheltered compared to mine at the same age but my daughter's life and mine are really not so different. I shudder again!

However my child you are wise and mature and kind and thoughtful and I am sure that I worry needlessly. My firstborn you are a delight and each year brings new depths and wonders to me as I watch the person you are becoming.
