I was taken out.....

.....for lunch today!!  R suggested it, so we drove to Watchet where he bought a couple of pasties and a cuppa at Sam's Deli and then we drove to Blue Anchor to eat them looking over to Wales!!  It was very cold but amazingly quite sunny so we sent to a walk to look at the rocks.....  See the extras (which I am using up) for a better explanation.

They've been dumped on the beach as a sort of 'breakwater' to try to stop more erosion of the coastal cliff. R standing by them gives you some idea of the size & apparently there are 1,800 tons in that pile!  The pub has already had to close some time ago and now the road above could be threatened.  We wonder if it'll work.
