Comiston House Doocot

A very breezy day in Edinburgh today.  At least one cat gets to go outside , but the other decides to sit on my lap until I have a Skype meeting, and the people are a bit too loud. At that point the other cat comes in, meows a complaint about the water coming out of the sky, and curls up on the cushion on sofa no 2.

The rain is still on at lunchtime, so I decide on a short walk anyway. I do get a bit damp on the walk out as the rain increases in intensity for a wee while. The blip of Comiston House Doocot was taken heading back along White Lady Walk. the rain had gone off a bit by then as well. Extra was taken in Fairmilehead Park. I think this bit of the park represents autumn the best with the leaves, the trees and the bramble bushes overhanging the log.

The wind has dropped for the after work ride, but it feels quite cold. The forecast says there won't be any more rain. But at the turning point at Shawfair, I see dark clouds. The cycle path seems to circle around it. However as I head home along Braid hills Drive, the rain hits me. I was very cold by the time I get home. Good new, Wednesday is midweek beer night. :-)
