Christmas tree

The large Christmas tree that the tenant-owner association had ordered has been hit by the spruce bark beetle, so there will be no Christmas tree this year. Instead the association puts up a "light tree".  Two men from the association's board struggled to get it straight, while the chairman watched. Now it is in place and shines nicely, but it is so very tiny. I wish they had bought a bigger one. But Christmas this year will be different so it may apply to the Christmas tree as well.

Extras: I walked past the non-existent schoolyard again. Some children played ping pong on the square and as can be seen in the second extra, some of the school children hung out on the street outside the entrance.
