evangeline and hannah

hannah and eva are two of my friends from my kaniki days back in 2010. i was utterley delighted that when i moved from kaniki to kansenshi in 2011, they did too! i was so cool to have them as nearly neighbours for a couple of years and we've had a lot of good times together. these girls are so much fun!! we've had some precious times hanging out, playing guitar and singing together but mostly eating and playing uno.

i'm glad i managed to get their picture outside of the pep store, as one thing i will always remember about these girls is how many pairs of shoes they own! i don't understand shoes (why would anyone need anything more than a pair of flip flops?!) but my auntie and cousin would totally appreciate their love of shoes.

hanging out with them today only made me realise again how utterly hilarious they are! i'll miss their laughter and friendship so much.

oh yeah, looks like i'm having a little blip birthday today too. go me!



(i'm taking a break from my normal blipping routine and from now until i leave i will be posting portraits of the people that i love here in zambia. i might put them all together at the end to make a mammoth picture to hang on my wall, but mostly they will stay here on blip so i can remember these lovely people).
